Community Guidelines

At MeriZindgi, we foster a respectful, safe, and trustworthy environment rooted in Islamic and cultural values. These guidelines help ensure every member can find their life partner with dignity and integrity.

1. Be Respectful & Courteous

Treat all members with kindness, empathy, and respect—regardless of background, beliefs, or personal choices.

  • Use polite and appropriate language in messages and profiles.
  • Avoid offensive, derogatory, or discriminatory remarks.
  • Respect boundaries—if someone declines your interest, accept it gracefully.

2. Provide Accurate & Honest Information

Trust begins with truth. Your profile must reflect your real identity and intentions.

  • Use your real name, age, and photos.
  • Do not falsify education, profession, income, or marital status.
  • Do not create multiple accounts or impersonate others.
⚠️ Profiles with misleading information will be suspended or permanently banned.

3. Honor Cultural & Religious Values

MeriZindgi is built on South Asian and Islamic traditions. We expect members to uphold these values.

  • Engage with the intent of marriage, not casual relationships.
  • Involve family in the process where appropriate.
  • Avoid inappropriate or romantic language in early communications.

4. Protect Privacy & Safety

Your safety—and that of others—is paramount.

  • Do not share phone numbers, addresses, or financial details publicly.
  • Report suspicious behavior (e.g., requests for money, pressure tactics).
  • Never meet in person without informing a trusted family member.

5. No Commercial or Spam Activity

  • Do not advertise products, services, or other websites.
  • Do not send bulk messages or unsolicited promotional content.
  • Do not use MeriZindgi for business networking or job hunting.

6. Consequences of Violations

We take violations seriously. Depending on severity, actions may include:

  • Warning and content removal
  • Temporary suspension of account
  • Permanent ban without notice
  • Reporting to authorities in cases of fraud or harassment

Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team within 24 hours.

7. Your Role in Our Community
